Cortisol  (Canine/Feline)

Cortisol is a key adrenal hormone used to assess adrenal gland function and stress response in canines and felines.

Cortisol is a potent hormone known as a glucocorticoid that affects the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, but especially glucose. Cortisol test is performed on dogs and cats who may have malfunctioning adrenal glands.

Phenobarbital  (Canine/Feline)

Quantitative measurement of Phenobarbital levels in canine and feline blood

Phenobarbital is a pharmaceutical drug used to treat epileptic seizures. To achieve a therapeutic effect, it must be administered at or above a certain dosage threshold. Monitoring phenobarbital levels can help overcome individual pharmacokinetic differences and improve therapeutic outcomes in dogs and cats.

T4  (Canine/Feline)

T4 is a primary screening biomarker used to assess thyroid gland function in canines and felines.

Total thyroxine (T4) is a thyroid hormone produced by the thyroid gland and plays a key role in regulating metabolism, growth, thermoregulation, and energy balance in dogs and cats. Measurement of total T4 is widely used as a first-line test for evaluating thyroid function in veterinary patients.

Tn-I  (Canine/Feline)

Cardiac Troponin I (Tn-I) is a highly specific biomarker of myocardial cell injury in both canines and felines.

Troponin I is one of three protein complexes (TnC, TnT, and TnI) that make up myocardial fibers, of which TnT and TnI are proteins found specifically in heart muscle. Since these proteins are released into the bloodstream when myocardial cells are damaged, measuring their concentration in the blood is used as a highly sensitive diagnostic marker to determine the presence of heart disease and the extent of damage in dogs and cats.

TSH  (Canine/Feline)

TSH is a pituitary hormone used to assess thyroid regulation and support the diagnosis of hypothyroidism in canines and felines.

TSH is a pituitary hormone that stimulates thyroid gland to produce Thyroxine (T4) and Triiodothyronine (T3), which works on almost every tissue in body. Test of TSH level in blood is useful for diagnosis of diseases related to thyroid function in dogs and cats.

Vitamin D (Canine/Feline)

Accurate assessment of Vitamin D status is essential for diagnosing and monitoring metabolic and chronic bone diseases in canines and felines

Vitamin D is an essential fat-soluble nutrient primarily obtained through the diet. It plays an important role in calcium homeostasis and bone metabolism. Recent studies have reported that suboptimal vitamin D levels may be associated with various health conditions, including increased inflammatory responses and cardiovascular disorders.
