AFP (Canine)
Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is a tumor-associated biomarker linked to hepatic and germ cell neoplasia in canines.
Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is a normal serum protein produced primarily by the liver in a developing fetus. AFP levels are typically elevated at birth and then decline rapidly. However, liver damage and certain cancers can increase AFP concentrations significantly. This test measures the level of AFP in the blood to diagnose these conditions in dogs.

cCRP (Canine)
cCRP is a major acute-phase protein used to assess systemic inflammation in canines.
The C-reactive protein (CRP) is synthesized by the liver in response to interleukin-6 and is well known as one of the classical acute-phase reactants and as a marker of inflammation. CRP is the first acute-phase protein to be described and is an exquisitely sensitive systemic marker of inflammation and tissue damage.

cNT-proBNP (Canine)
Canine N-terminal prohormone of B-type natriuretic peptide (cNT-proBNP) is a biomarker used to evaluate cardiac function in canines.
To aid diagnosis of heart diseases and evaluate the severity level of heart failure. pro-BNP is synthesized at cardiomyocytes and processed to make active form (BNP) and inactive form (NT-proBNP). BNP and NT-proBNP are secreted from cardiomyocytes in the heart ventricles, in response to stretching caused by increased left ventricular blood volume.

Canine pancreatic lipase (cPL) is a specific biomarker for the diagnosis of pancreatitis in canines.
cPL (canine Pancreatic Lipase) is a lipase that is specifically secreted by pancreas of dog. Test of cPL level in blood is useful for diagnosis of diseases related to dog's pancreas. It is known that the concentration of PL in peripheral blood increases when there is an inflammation in the pancreas (pancreatitis).

D-Dimer (Canine)
D-dimer is a biomarker that indicates active clot formation and breakdown in canines.
D-dimer, a degradation product of cross-linked fibrin formed during activation of the coagulation system, is commonly used to exclude thromboembolic disease in outpatients suspected of having deep venous thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). DVT and PE are relatively common and can cause sudden, fatal embolic events in the pulmonary arteries and other regions. Measurement of the D-dimer level in plasma has been used as a screening strategy for subclinical DVT. A systematic review reported that a normal range of a highly sensitive D-dimer level accurately ruled out DVT in dogs classified as having a low or moderate clinical probability of DVT.

HbA1c (Canine)
HbA1c reflects the average blood glucose level over the past 2–3 months in canines.
Glycated hemoglobin protein is formed post-translationally through the slow, nonenzymatic reaction between glucose and amino groups on proteins. HbA1c is a clinically useful index of mean glycemia during the preceding 120 days, the average life span of erythrocytes. Carefully controlled studies have documented a close relationship between the concentrations of HbA1c and mean glycemia in dogs. HbA1c is considered as a more reliable parameter in monitoring glycemia over the glycemic reading with the conventional glucometer.
