Besides the traditional FOBT, some programs have included iFOBT (immunochecmial FOBT) to supplement their screening programs. By using the patented devel-a-tab card for iFOBT, a unique dry card collection system, the problem of fecal sample breakdown has virtually been eliminated.This dry card method has a stability of 30 days versus the 3-5 days stability of using the tube method. All of the above factors have made each and every one of the screening programs succesful.
